Stacey L. Janssen returned to her own practice in 2022, founding Janssen Estate, Probate & Elder Law, LLC, practicing in the areas of estate planning, probate administration, and fiduciary litigation in both Kansas and Missouri.

Stacey co-founded the Kansas Elder Law Hotline, which continues to serve thousands of Kansas and their families yearly. Stacey is a frequent speaker at community and continuing legal education events speaking on the topics of estate planning, Medicaid, probate, and ethics. Stacey currently serves as the Vice President of the Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association.

Stacey holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Art History from the University of Kansas, 1985, and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Kansas, 1988. 

Stacey has been recognized as a Super Lawyer, Best of the Bar, and in 2021 received the KCBMA's Distinguished Counselor Award. She also serves as a volunteer and board member for several area faith-based and nonprofit agencies. 

Stacey lives in Mission, Kansas, and has three children, one dog, and two cats.
